CBC needs public funding with stricter guidelines to what is shown.

Jpod is a great show
so is Tudors and LIttle Mosque shows viewership
Rick Mercer and 22minutes are a bit tired but they are at least doing a better job of news than the rest of Canadian tv media.
I think CBC needs to re-format into several stations,like the BBC.
And lastly, if thes CONs want to drop public funding and the television fund, then ya CBC needs a 'capital investment' which can be paid back.
This CBC bashing isn't helping Canadian identity. I am sure we are all tired of jsut being known for an old beaver and those mountie uniforms.

Power and Associates 2007 Flat Panel Television Usage and Satisfaction Study(SM) released today. The Flat Panel Television Usage and Satisfaction Study is a complementary study to the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Large Screen HDTV Usage and Satisfaction Study released earlier this month. The Sony LCD series earns an overall satisfaction score of 792 on a 1,000 point scale and performs particularly well in the picture and sound performance and features factors.

Questions have been raised about the reported £300,000 donation to Labour from Glasgow-based businessman Imran Khand, through a front organisation, the Muslim Friends of Labour. No doubt there will be others. The mystery is why Labour politicians were so ignorant of their own law. The Electoral Commission assigned £180,000 for education programmes to ensure party officers and elected members would be in no doubt of their obligation to obey the letter of it. Not money well spent, it seems. But Labour politicians are incensed. Suddenly they've realised that no-one is safe from this terminator statute.
