On Monday, Aubertine told an editorial board meeting at The Post-Standard that if the wind project is developed, his farm could host five to 10 wind turbines that could bring in $50,000 to $100,000 a year. " (Syr. Post Standard, 2/22/08)

Aubertine backed up the Barclay ad on his wind farm votes with his own words 3 days before it even went up on air. This guy is a fraud and the people of the 48th will be sorely disappointed if theymake the mistake of electing this clown.

MPs must thwart the dark plans of the state

But does this support the argument for a mandatory database? Clearly not, because the damage done to the liberty and privacy of 60 million people would be out of proportion to any gain, to say nothing of the administrative nightmare of collecting everyone's DNA and the flaws already in the system, which are obscured by the police and the Home Office.

The DNA database is not a perfect weapon. Last year 1,500 administrative mistakes were discovered and at least 100 inaccuracies pertaining to individuals. That means there is a real possibility of people being convicted of crimes they did not commit. Given the chaotic state of government databases, it must be obvious even to Salter and Davies that administrative errors would be vastly increased if the database were to be expanded by a factor of about 13, from 4.5m to 60m.

Farrah's Extra-Special Birthday Celebration

ET is there for the next chapter in the legendary star's journey.

In part two of our exclusive coverage, ET is there for FARRAH's birthday! It's a welcome break in between the pain of her cancer treatments.

"This is my best birthday ever," says Farrah, "because I'm alive."

But this party is not just another birthday -- the former "Charlie's Angels" star is in Germany in a hospital clinic, and one of her guests is her doctor.

"She's managed to keep her sense of humor and laugh about things," says good friend ALANA STEWART. "One minute she's crying and in pain, the next minute she'll be laughing. She's amazing that way."

Alana's ex-husband, GEORGE HAMILTON, and her son, SEAN, are also there to celebrate.

"You're the toughest person I ever met; I say that in all honesty," George tells Farrah.

Open Mouth, Insert Foot

Using the genre of fantasy or magical realism in the tradition of A Thousand and One Nights, Shawqi tackles the ideas of standing up to injustice and fighting for one’s rights. Shawqi, like many others of his generation who lived through the British occupation of Egypt, tried to hide his nationalist leanings. The novel is later printed and released by Ein Publishing.

ATLANTA Federal inspections will be carried out at hundreds of plants where combustible dust is a workplace hazard, a top safety official said Monday at a sugar refinery where dust is suspected of causing a deadly explosion.

Ed Foulke Jr., head of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, announced the inspections while visiting the Imperial Sugar refinery in Port Wentworth, where a blast on Feb. 7 killed 12 workers injured dozens more.

OSHA has not completed its investigation of that explosion but is sending letters to 30,000 companies that deal with combustible dust to discuss the dangers, Foulke said in a telephone interview.

Transformers (Two-Disc Special Edition)

"From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes a thrilling battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between the evil Decepticons and ultimate power is a clue held by Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf)." "Transformers (Two-Disc Special Edition)" is rated PG-13. The Movie: I've been a fan of Transformers as long as they've been around. I bought the original G1 toys. I read all the Marvel Comics. I watched the cartoons. I saw the animated movie. I bought the soundtrack. I have "The Touch." So it was with a mixture of eager anticipation and dread that I awaited the live action "Transformers" movie. I was glad to hear that Steven Spielberg was involved, but I was a bit worried about Michael Bay's storytelling abilities.
