Giants-Patriots Super Bowl the second most-watched TV show ever

The New York Giants' thrilling win over New England was the most-watched Super Bowl ever with 97.5 million viewers, a total that is second only to the "M-A-S-H" finale audience, Nielsen Media Research said Monday.

The game eclipsed the previous Super Bowl record of 94.08 million, set when Dallas defeated Pittsburgh in 1996. The final "M-A-S-H" episode, which drew 106 million viewers in 1983, is the only other show in American broadcast history watched by more people.

Sunday's game had almost all the ingredients Fox could have hoped for: a tight contest with an exciting finish involving a team that was attempting to make history as the NFL's first unbeaten team since 1972.

But the Giants ended New England's bid for perfection, 17-14. Throughout the game, the teams were never separated by more than a touchdown.

Insider's Guide: Employee Health Benefits

Here's her advice and what's worked well for her firm.

1. Choose providers carefully.

Ms. Trott says she chose a broker with a good reputation in the industry who had represented some of Quantum's clients. Why did someone in the health-care industry need a broker? The company was too small to negotiate directly with the insurance company, and executives were too busy running its business and didn't have a human-resources manager. But even larger employers that don't need to rely on a broker's potentially greater negotiating power can benefit from outside assistance. A broker can help them learn what's available, think through their specifications and put together a program, Ms. Trott says. Keep in mind that brokers often are paid on commission by the insurance company, which could be reflected in the premiums.

Welcome to Adlon Hotel in Stockholm

Can anybody tell me what is expected from my c.v and covering letter in Sweden. I am soon hoping to apply for my first job in Sweden and really don't want to mess it up! I was planning to get help writing my covering letter in Swedish, but even these letters seem quite different form any covering letter I have written in England. I was told recently that it should be a general introduction letter about myself, perhaps even with a photo, not just work related, mentioning my age my partner my interests etc....is this correct? As for the c.v should I translate it into Swedish? What order should things be in...my english c.v starts with contact info, then education, then previous employment, then additional skills/experience and finally referees....does this order stay the same? As you can see...I am not sure .

Resident barricade halts phone mast

Owners of mobile phones have a choice of when and how often to use them. The 450 children attending this primary and middle school do [bold]not[/bold] have a choice over the installation of these three masts, 60 yards from their classrooms. They, nor the school, were even told about it. [italic]Neither were the residents living ten feet away![/italic] As for the health issues, even T-Mobile's OWN RESEARCH [italic](ECOLOG Institute in Hanover Report 2000)[/italic] shows that there is a substantial risk, but of course they buried this research in favour of more sympathetic research commissioned hastily afterwards, but fortunately it was leaked, and can be found on the internet. Sir William Stewart was commissioned by the UK government to research potential effects (Stewart Report, May 2000), yet have ignored all his advice when he found a link between masts and illnesses - specifically in placing masts near schools.
