Barton's arraignment, relating to the multiple misdemeanor counts she was charged with on Tuesday, has been postponed to April 10, according to City News Service, EOnline reported. Initially, the arraignment was scheduled for today.
The former "The O.C." actress' downfall began on December 27, when she was arrested and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; one count of driving while having a 0.08% or higher blood alcohol level; one count of driving without a valid California license; and one count of possession of marijuana, 28.5 grams or less.

In Sunday's Washington Post Rendell told columnist David Broder that with a 10 or 11-point lead over Sen. Barack Obama there was "no way [Clinton] would lose" in Pennsylvania. Dee, are these the questions? I shall do my best... 1. Why should Gay people get special treatment over other alternative lifestyles? I'm not quite sure how to answer this question, for the definition of "alternative lifestyles" seems open to interpretation. I will say that I don't think recognizing a gay marriage necessarily constitutes "special treatment". I would like to think that the acceptance of the concept of gay marriage would come organically, where the general population comes to the conclusion rather than having the Courts thrust the recognition upon society. However, I have my doubts as to whether or not this is a realistic hope. I believe that much of the resistance to societal changes comes about because the changes are forced on society without society being ready to acknowledge those changes.
